Registration is required for several of the events and may be made through links at the SBC Annual Meeting website.
Whitney Capps, a national speaker for Proverbs 31 Ministries and a writer for the free Bible app, First 5, is the keynote speaker for the Ministers’ Wives Luncheon.
“I know Whitney’s got a message for us that will just encourage us,” Dew said. She said the team leading the event is praying for the women who will join them.
Annual Meeting pre-registration passes 6,000, kids’ events filling up
NASHVILLE (BP) – Pre-registration for the summer’s SBC Annual Meeting in New Orleans is picking up pace. More than 6,000 messengers have pre-registered for the meeting to be held on June 13 and 14.
Activities for children, as well as childcare, are at or near capacity, according to Jonathan Howe, SBC Executive Committee vice president for communications.
“Giant Calf, which is our preschool childcare provider, is now full, and so is Youth on Mission,” Howe said.
“The only childcare with openings right now is Giant Cow for kids ages 5-12. Those openings are limited and will likely close soon, so if you’re looking for childcare, you need to have that reserved soon before it is full,” added Howe.
Registration can be made at the SBC Annual Meeting website.
The 2023 SBC Pastors’ Conference and Annual Meeting are set to meet at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on June 11-14.
