NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)–Most of the college football world fell silent last weekend. Now, with teams around the country ready for competition to resume on Saturday, don’t be surprised if many players have a renewed focus on God and country.
Take Vanderbilt linebacker Nate Morrow for instance. Each day, not just game day, the senior from New Concord, Ohio, has a quiet time.
“I read the Bible and keep my thoughts focused on prayer,” Morrow said. “I ask the Lord to remind me that I’m on a platform to glorify him.”
