ST. LOUIS (BP) — This year’s Southern Baptist Pastors’ Conference will center on the theme “Live This!” and focus on equipping pastors to do the work of evangelists.
“I don’t think anybody can deny that we are at an all-time low in evangelism,” Pastors’ Conference president John Meador said. “I don’t think anyone can deny that no one is going to change this unless the pastor does. And because of those truths, I think this Pastors’ Conference is critical and crucial.”
Meador and his leadership team, Neil Franks, pastor of First Baptist Church in Branson, Mo., and Glynn Stone, pastor of Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas, hope pastors from the Millennial generation will join their older counterparts at the conference.
Below is a list of pertinent information on the Pastors’ Conference followed by a schedule of speakers.
