A major component of the North American Mission Board’s booth during the SBC annual meeting in Birmingham is dedicated to student mobilization, including the new Go2 Initiative. Go2 is a mobilization strategy in partnership with J. D. Greear, NAMB, and IMB encouraging recent college graduates to spend their first two years after college on mission. In North America, the goal is to make disciples in the marketplace, working in their chosen field, as they serve in a church plant. Internationally, it’s completing IMB’s Journeyman program serving in a city as a fully-funded missionary for two years. More information and ways to sign up can be found at www.Go2Years.net. The site also includes resources for college pastors and ministry leaders to cast the vision for college students to give two years, post-graduation, to serving on mission.
