Send Relief, Southern Baptists' compassion ministry, has made four videos available for churches to use this weekend to inform congregations about relief efforts in the wake of Hurricane Helene as well as ways to support those efforts.

While most Americans will be understandably preoccupied with the presidential race in the lead up to election day, this attention must not come at the neglect of local and statewide elections. This is particularly true in the 10 states that will vote on constitutional amendments to legalize abortion. These constitutional amendments represent a growing and alarming trend in the United States.

RALEIGH, N.C. — N.C. Baptists on Mission Disaster Response Coordinator Tom Beam used an unexpected personal audience with President Joe Biden earlier this week to talk about the response efforts to Hurricane Helene taking place all across western North Carolina.
